**1. Keep the Bandage On (2-4 hours):** After getting your tattoo, your artist will cover it with a bandage. Leave it on for a few hours to protect it from dirt and bacteria.
**2. Gently Cleanse (4-6 hours):** Once you remove the bandage, wash your hands thoroughly and use a mild, fragrance-free soap to gently cleanse the tattooed area. Use your fingertips and lukewarm water to remove any ointment, blood, or ink residue. Pat dry with a clean, soft towel.
**3. Apply Thin Layer of Ointment (2-3 times a day):** Apply a thin layer of tattoo-specific ointment or a fragrance-free moisturizer to keep the tattooed area moisturized. Avoid using too much as it can clog pores and slow down the healing process.
**4. Avoid Scratching or Picking:** Itchiness is common during healing, but refrain from scratching or picking at the tattoo to prevent infections and scarring.
**5. Wear Loose Clothing:** Choose loose, breathable clothing to prevent irritation and allow the tattoo to breathe. Avoid tight fabrics that can rub against the tattoo.
**6. Stay Hydrated:** Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated, which aids in the healing process.
**7. Avoid Direct Sunlight:** Protect your tattoo from direct sunlight for at least 2-3 weeks to prevent fading and damage. If you must go outside, use a sunblock with a high SPF.
**8. No Swimming or Soaking:** Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, and soaking in bathtubs until the tattoo is fully healed to prevent bacteria from entering the tattooed area.
**9. Let Scabs Fall Naturally:** Scabbing and peeling are part of the healing process. Allow scabs to fall off naturally; do not pick at them.
**10. Be Patient:** Complete tattoo healing can take 2-4 weeks. Every person's healing process is different, so be patient and follow these steps consistently.
Remember, these are general guidelines. If your tattoo artist provides specific instructions, follow those as well. If you notice any signs of infection or abnormal healing, consult a medical professional.

Tattoo pricing can vary with design, size and placement. Our base price is $70.00. Hourly rates are around $140.00 an hour. Usually, with normal skin, and sitting still...the price will work in your favor. If you have abnormal skin, ( delicate, sensitive, or rough skin) or you have difficulty sitting still, it will take longer, and cost more.

The healing time for a tattoo depends on various factors, such as the size and location of the tattoo or piercing, the individual's immune system, and how well they follow the aftercare instructions provided by our artists. Generally, tattoos take about 2-4 weeks to heal. Avoid swimming, and long exposure to sunlight. Animal dander, laundry soap residue, and dyes in clothing can all have an effect on healing.
Yes, we do offer walk-in appointments for smaller tattoos and piercings, subject to availability. However, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your request at a time that works for you.
